Story
For photographers who are always on the go, travel with confidence and give your precious film the protection it deserves. This bag provides a shielded layer to help avoid fogging, streaking or change in film sensitivity during low-dosage x-ray scans.
Suitable for storing a mix of film formats, the inner material is lined with lead to protect your film and the bag can fit approximately 10 × 120 rolls, 8 × 110 cartridges, 12 × 135 rolls, or a small camera. Film should always be transported in your hand luggage, and any film over 1000 ISO should be hand-inspected.
Question & Answers
What happens to unprotected film during an x-ray scan?
Unexposed or exposed film that passes through an x-ray scanner may show fogging, streaking in the scans when developed, or there may be a a change in film sensitivity. Using the Anti X-ray bag can help to prevent any unwanted changes to the look of your film.
Can this bag protect my film if they are in my checked-in luggage?
At many airports, checked luggage passes through stronger CT scanners and it’s not guaranteed that this bag will protect your film. It’s best to carry your film in hand luggage.
